But believe it’s somewhat ridiculous to try and fix a problem by replacing a single word. It depends on intonation and context.

Everybody knows if someone means what he says well or hateful. Be the word unicorn or cockroach.

I therefore somewhat see his point. Why the discussions about which is the right word? Seems like a waste of time.
